Passing of Charles Iadanza, a long-time member.

We have just learned that Charles Iadanza, a long-time member of the Society, passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of seventy-four. Charlie also served as the SPI treasurer for many years, and later as a member of the Board of Directors.
Charlie was a fixture at our monthly meetings at Forlini’s and would regale us with “war stories” from his days as a detective investigator in the Kings County District Attorney’s office and later on as NYC Department of Social Services managing welfare investigator.
Charlie was also one of our stalwarts at the long bar at Forlini’s where he enjoyed “schmoozing” with other regulars while enjoying his Harveys Bristol Cream and lime. He was always willing to provide guidance and encouragement to young investigators.
Charlie was survived by his wife Kathleen, a daughter, and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
