On April 25, 2023 the Society of Professional Investigators attended and supported the American Academy for Professional Law-Enforcement at their 2023 Spring Cigar Event. This well-attended event included SPI member and President of the NYPD HIspanic Society, Joseph Ayala, SPI members and President of the NYPD St. Paul's Society, Nicholas Biancoviso, and Second VP, Peter Hatzoglou. We also extend congratulations to AAPLE Board member, NYPD Inspector Luis Colon in his new assignment as Commanding Officer, DOI Squad and AAPLE Board member, Inspector Anthony Gazis as 2023 Person of the Year, NYPD Police Self-Support Group.
