Congratulations to our SPI board member from the NYPD who worked tirelessly to investigate the murder of teen cashier Kristal Bayron-Nieves at an East Harlem Burger King last week, and was instrumental in the arrest of a suspect today. NYPD commisioner Sewell praised NYPD investigators at a press conference today and said on Twitter: "They truly are some of “The Greatest Detectives in the World.” Mayor Eric Adams attended the press conference because he said that he felt compelled to comment on the case due the cold-blooded nature of the killing, according to the New York Post.
