SPI March 2026 Meeting: A Night of Insight, Celebration, and Fraternity

/  Association News  /  0

The highlight of the program was an outstanding presentation by Edward J. Ajaeb, CLI, Founder & President of Nighthawk Strategies, Life Member of SPI, and President of the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS). Edward delivered a timely and insightful talk on "The Legislative Landscape for Investigators", covering critical federal and state developments in privacy laws, data access, surveillance regulations, licensing trends, and effective advocacy strategies. His expertise as a Certified Legal Investigator and nationally recognized speaker left attendees better informed and empowered to protect and advance our profession. Thank you, Edward, for another exceptional contribution to our community!

We were especially honored to recognize our longest continuously active member and Communications Director, Charles-Eric Gordon, Esq., with a special cake, SPI flag, and heartfelt tribute. Charlie's more than four decades of service — as investigative counsel, wise mentor, and unwavering steward of SPI's principles — truly embody what our Society stands for. Charlie, thank you for your institutional knowledge, dedication, and the countless ways you've strengthened us all.

Adding joy and laughter to the night, we celebrated the birthday of our steadfast Sergeant-at-Arms, Michael P. Reynolds, Esq.

This is what make SPI meetings more than events; they’re reunions with friends and family.

A huge thank you to every member who attended, to Edward for his outstanding talk, and to the Board and members who made the evening memorable.
