I've been remiss in sharing news of a very special award I received recently. As now is the time for reflection on the year I feel humbled to share that I was the recipient of the 2023 Vinson Award from the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS). The Vinson Award for Outstanding Service is presented annually in recognition of outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to NCISS. As professional investigators, our role extends beyond investigations; we're also deeply committed to legislative advocacy. It's paramount that we continue to push for policies and regulations that support the ethical and effective practice of our profession. This advocacy protects not only our profession but also those whom we serve, ensuring justice, fairness, and transparency for all. By joining together, we can navigate challenges with adaptability, cooperation, and collaboration. I look forward to continuing to work with the leaders of our industry and our nation toward these goals. Thank you NCISS for this wonderful recognition.
